Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is one of the best agricultural universities in India. It came into existence on June 1, 1971. TNAUs genesis with the Agricultural School at Saidapet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is as early as 1868 which was later relocated at Coimbatore during 1906.
The University offers Twelve Undergraduate Degree Programs and Twenty nine Postgraduate Degree Programs in 10 Colleges distributed in seven campuses all over the state. Besides, the university has 34 Research Stations for agrotechnology development.
