There is only one application form for all the three TANCET TESTS (i.e. for MBA, for MCA and for M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan)

You can register and apply for TANCET 2014 either online or offline.

a. Registration in Person (Offline application)
              
To register for TANCET 2014, you can appear in person at any of the 14 co-ordinating centres (mentioned in the end) in Tamil Nadu with the following documents:
 
i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
iii) Entrance Test Fee in the form of cash (or) Demand Draft
iv) SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu have to produce a copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession.
 
b. Internet Registration (Online application)
 
You can register online for TANCET 2014 by filling up the application form, downloading it and send it to the address shown below with the following documents:
 
i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
iii) Entrance Test Fee in the form of Demand Draft
iv) An attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).

TANCET 2014 Exam Fee

If you register for TANCET 2014, you need to pay in cash or through demand draft a sum of
Rs. 500 (
Rs. 250 for  SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) drawn in favour of "The Secretary" payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalised Bank drawn on or after 1 February, 2014.

The cash/ DD should be submitted along with your filled-in application, towards the entrance test fee for any one of the programmes M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.E/M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.

If you apply for more than one program, you have to pay an additional Rs.500 (or Rs.250 if you're an SC/ ST/ SCA candidate of Tamil Nadu) for every extra program. The total payment can be made through single DD.

Note:
1. Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible except, B.E. /B.Tech. and MCA degree courses.
2. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degree obtained through Distance / Weekend mode are not eligible.
3. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th, 12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible.

TANCET Co-ordinating Centres

The hall tickets for TANCET 2014 will be despatched (for online registrants only) to all the eligible candidates who have applied. If any eligible candidate does not receive the hall ticket, he/she can get a duplicate hall ticket from the enquiry office at the following co-ordinating centres.
