Christian Medical College in Vellore is a century old medical college which attracts thousands and thousands of students every year. The college offers both graduate and postgraduate courses with variety of specialization. The college is affiliated to the TN Dr MGR Medical University. The minimum qualification required for admission is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as core subjects. One should also attain a minimum of 60% marks at +2 levels in each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology taken together) and have an aggregate of 140/200 in these subjects, both at qualifying and competitive examinations and should have passed in English.

Selection to Christian Medical College Vellore is based on performance in an entrance examination, clinical and interview. The examination consists of a variety of multiple choice questions, distributed in all disciplines of Medicine.
