Applications are invited for TANCET 2012, that are to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamilnadu on 31st March & 1st April 2012. TANCET 2012 - Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test held by Anna University (AU) Chennai for admission into following programs.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Computer Application (MCA)
• Master of Engineering (ME)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
• Master of Architecture (M.Arch)
• Master in Planning (M.Plan)

On the basis of merit in TANCET admission is offered at University Departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University Coimbatore, Anna University Trichy, Anna University, Tirunelveli, Govt. Engineering, Arts and Science Colleges, Govt. Aided Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges, and Govt. Quota seats in self-financing Engineering and Arts & Science Colleges / standalone Institutions.

Besides, some other universities and self financing engineering colleges also accept Score in TANCET 2012 for admission. Candidates of Tamil Nadu as well as those living outside Tamil Nadu can apply for appearing in TANCET 2012.
