Section A - 1 Essay in English of 1500 words - 150 Marks

Section B - 1 Essay in Tamil of 1500 words - 150 Marks

Total - 300 Marks

  4. Social uplift movements with special reference to Tamil Nadu.
  5. Tamil Culture.
  6. Environmental Concerns
  7. Scientific and Industrial Developments.
  8. Exploitation of natural resources in Tamil Nadu.
  9. The emerging role of women in Tamil Society.
  10. A General Survey of 20th Century Tamil/English Literature.
  11. Development of Sports in Tamil Nadu.
  12. A Survey of Economic Development and financial institutions in Tamil Nadu.
  13. Education Policies in Tamil Nadu.
  14. Elaboration of a familiar quotation/proverb in English/Tamil.
  15. Features of the Indian constitution.
  16. Developments in information Technology.

Note : (Sex, Religion, Crime, Politics or any logic which might be polemical or objectionable must be avoided).

Five questions from the above areas are to be set in each language out of which one is to be answered in 1500 words under section A (English - 150 Marks) and Section B (Tamil - 150 marks).

The duration of the Examination shall be 3 hours for a maximum 300 marks.
