Architecture Education in Tamil Nadu

Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings and structures. An Architect has to keep feasibility, cost to the builder as well as the functional and aesthetic aspects in mind. Tamil Nadu is one of the few states in India where there is enormous scope in engineering education. Architecture as a study discipline is offered by few dedicated architecture colleges in the state and engineering colleges as well.

There are about 15 colleges/institutes in Tamil Nadu offering courses such as B.Arch and M.Arch etc. Here, we have compiled a list of these institutes/colleges (except those colleges located in Chennai) with their contact details and brief information viz. affiliation with university, no. of seats available and name of course (s) offered by that particular institute.
